Presenting at the Atlanta Bridal Expo 8-26-07
On August 26, 2007 we will be presenting a booth at the Great Bridal Expo in Atlanta, Georgia (http://www.greatbridalexpo.com/) during which, we will be showcasing our work for families and families-to-be. The expo features a lot of products and services for thousands of brides and their families in the Atlanta Metropolitain Area. When we heard about the show, we jumped at the opportunity, what better way to introduce our unique family portrait styles than at the ground floor when the family is just starting out :)
We thought it would be a great idea to extend our free family portrait session offer to engagement photography sessions and to offer free family portrait sessions to the new families. We are not requiring a minimum purchase through this offer since (as usual) we are so confident in our photographers work that we know they are going to love it and call us back for additional sessions. Again, this is our way of introducing our photographers to families and allowing them the opportunity to find their family's own personal photographer with no strings attached.
For the participants in the Expo, we will be not only waiving first session fees for anyone who signs up at our booth (*Normally a session fee is $300!) We are also going to be holding a drawing for a 16x20 Canvas print from their free session, this is an additional $300 value! Tickets for the show can be purchased through The Great Bridal Show Website (www.greatbridalexpo.com), but if you can't make the show, you can still get in touch with us to book your engagement photo session (mention this blog article and we will waive the session fee for you). Who We Are and What We Do
Welcome to the blog for FotoIllusion Family Portraits. Our mission is to provide artistic, lifestyle photography to families at affordable prices. As a regional studio chain, we employ photographers in the Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, and Houston metropolitain areas. My name is Joe Pfeiff and I am a principal contributor to this blog and one of the founders of the company. My goal is to introduce you to our unique and artistic style of photography and give your family the opportunity to experience one of our family portrait sessions free of charge. That's right, for any of our new customers, I am going to waive the cost of sending one of our photographers to your home, favorite park, beach or other outdoor location to take portraits of your family just like the ones you will see at our website (www.fotoillusion.com/familyportraits).
Our concept is simple, we send professional photographers who we have hand picked to showcase in the areas we serve and send them to outdoor locations to capture your whole family in posed and spontaneous portraits. We all know that there are literally millions of people claiming to be professional photographers across the US who have websites and blogs advertise that they will come to the location of your choice and take beautiful photos of your entire family. What the most (if not all) of those photographers will not do is give you a risk free initial photo session to see if you like their work. This is where we come in. We know that our photographers take brilliant photographs, just check out some of the following examples:
In addition to the fact that we offer no-risk photo sessions, what sets us apart from our counterparts in this style of photography is the artistic and interpretative edge our photos have. This comes from two sources; the first is the posing (or rather lack thereof in some photos) and the unique editing and lighting we use in each photo. The result is a style that is edgy and different, more akin to photojournalistic posing and artistic editing and dramatic lighting. The goal is to capture the entire group of family members in their true form and express those images with the same joie de vivre that each of our families posess.

WELCOME!!!
Hey!!! We started a brand new blog and I am going to need some new content. Don' worry though, I have some Ideas and content. Stay here and I will be back with more. Keep me honest, some times I get real busy and don't update. Shoot me an email if you wanna see more.
